Projection Mapping

Slits is a projection mapping installation inspired by the slit-scan technology where pictures or video footage are stretched and sliced then put into a longer version. By projecting the visual in the middle of two walls and then mapped into a perfect rectangle, the inception of 3D space is destroyed for the viewers. Using the live footage of the viewers, their faces are directly distorted and projected onto the wall, and the feeling of infinity and uncanny are being produced. Also, the installation is audio responsive as the color, the extent of the noise, and shapes are altering because of the music being around, which in the installation is Supersoaker by artist Eartheater.
